Design and Implementation of New Store Signage and Graphics

As part of the city-wide revision of Calgary Co-op signage and identity, BOND redesigned the Fresh to Go department of the MacLeod Trail food store. We based the design on the existing new Co-op identity elements such as textures, graphic shapes, typography and colours, and created a visual language that was clear and simple. It was part of the launch of the new Fresh to Go department as a new feature in Co-op food stores - highlighting important information while maintaining the distinct connection with Co-op's new identity.

Years later, BOND was also engaged to implement new environmental graphic and signage initiatives to promote their pharmacies in 14 store locations across Calgary, Strathmore, and High River. BOND continued to implement Co-op’s new visual identity throughout other sections within their store including Customer Service, Deli, Bakery, Butcher, and Produce at their Monterey Park location. The success of all these signage and graphic initiatives led to Co-op applying them to the rest of their locations.
