BOND also created a signage, wayfinding and communication guideline that identifies, directs, informs and visually enhances the Calgary Transit facilities. Establishing consistent guidelines across Calgary Transit locations was an imperative segment to establish the identity and functionality of Calgary Transit.
Preserving heritage is a quintessential trait of Calgary culture. BOND Creative was also given the task to protect character defining elements while refurbishing the Eamon’s Bungalow Camp signage in accordance with the Standards and Guidelines for the Preservation of Historical Places in Canada. Refreshing the Heritage sign included LED bulbs for illumination and dimensional lettering that complements the iconic frame and metal cladding. This concept also included an interpretive display that has been designed to parallel the existing structure as a supporting element.
