Exterior Wayfinding and Signage Program

The University of Regina’s Main Campus and historical College Avenue covers 930 acres, and provides a study and work environment for more than 12,000 students. As part of their revitalization, new gateway signage was implemented but they required new wayfinding signage to address the current aging and out of date program.

BOND Creative was brought on board to audit the current system, offer improvements and design and implement a system that is conspicuous, functional, and reflects the spirit of their brand. Campus directory maps play a pivotal role in the wayfinding journey for first time visitors. BOND recommended the system be extended to support pedestrians at key locations such as transition points from parking lots and bus stops. Vehicular laybys are located at key points throughout the campus and new directory displays were designed as part of the overall program.
